Mechanical Galvanized End Caps and Post Caps
Wagner is pleased to announce that we have enhanced the corrosion resistance associated with our drive-on end caps and pressed post caps by using pre-galvanized steel or a mechanical galvanizing process.

Pre-galvanized steel material is purchased in coil form and run through a stamping operation to produce completed parts. No post-production finishing process is needed.
Mechanical galvanizing is performed in a large barrel which rotates to transmit mechanical energy through glass media to attach zinc powder to the end cap surface. In testing, these finishes provided a more consistent appearance and enhanced corrosion resistance than the dipped galvanizing process we have previously used on these parts.
These changes will start to be made over the next several months as we sell through the remaining cap inventory.
