WORKING TO IMPROVE YOUR ORDER PROCESS

Help us to help you by completing our online Customer Satisfaction Survey. All responses are anonymous. No personal information will be collected. Click here to go to the survey.

With the continuing diversification of Wagner's product line and the ever-expanding reach of our web sites, the profile of the traditional Wagner customer has changed and now includes designers and many who are in need of more assistance in the proper specification and selection of architectural metal products than has been the case in the past.

Wagner customer service representatives (CSRs) are well trained in providing pricing and entering orders, but with 11,000 part numbers, they may not have all the answers to the technical challenges of callers. In order to meet this growing demand, we have created links on our web site which send e-mails to our Technical Resource Team. With one click, your question is forwarded to a cross-section of Wagner's engineers, customer service and technical experts. Responses are sent within 24 hours and most are often resolved the same day.

The questions we receive are also being assembled into a "knowledge base" that will eventually be incorporated into our web sites. Our plan is to have this software in place by the second quarter of 2008.

In the meantime, here are a few tips on using our web sites:

If you prefer speaking with a real-live person, that's fine too. Wagner is just completing the implementation of new CSR order entry software to significantly improve your call-in experience. In order to help the CSRs in assisting you, please have your catalog and questions handy.

NAAMM/NOMMA METAL FINISHES MANUAL

The National Association of Architectural Metal Manufacturers (NAAMM) and National Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metals Association (NOMMA) joined forces in updating this nationally recognized publication. The Metal Finishes Manual contains six individual sections: classification designation and recommended specifications for finishes applicable to architectural metals; introduction section; and sections on finishes for aluminum, copper alloys, stainless steel, and applied coatings for carbon steel and iron.

Work is currently underway on the now out-of-print Metal Stair Railing Manual which is expected to be ready in 2008.

The Metal Finishes Manual may be purchased from NAAMM's web site.

READY FOR THE FEATS OF STRENGTH?

Festivus fun continues as Wagner creates the world's first Festivus Pole Lot for Milwaukee's Brady Street Festivus on Friday and Saturday, December 7th and 8th.

Brady Street is made up of nine blocks running east to west from Lake Michigan to the Milwaukee River and contains some of Milwaukee's finest restaurants, shops, taverns, lounges, salons and cafes.

Join Wagner as we Air Grievances, perform Feats of Strength and of course take time to admire the Festivus Pole -- unadorned, lackluster, and 100% aluminum with a high strength-to-weight ratio.

If you can't join us in downtown Milwaukee, get your very own Festivus Pole at www.festivuspoles.com.
