NEW PUSH-LOCK AND PULL-LOCK™ FITTINGS
FOR CABLE RAILING

Two New Ultra-Tec Fittings Eliminate Field Swaging

Push the cable into the Push Lock™ fitting, tension the cable and you’re done.

  • Pre-cut cables are provided with a tensioner on one end.
  • The other end is supplied per your dimensions to be trimmed in the field.
  • Thread your cable through the starting post and through intermediate posts, cable braces and end post.
  • Trim the cable to length per instructions
  • Push on the Push-Lock fitting and it locks in place
  • Return to your starting location and use tensioner to tension the cable.

Pull the cable into the Pull- Lock™ fitting, tension the cable and you’re done.

  • Pre-cut cables may be purchased with any standard Ultra-Tec tensioner on one end
  • Or purchase cable and use a Pull-Lock™ static fitting on one end and a Pull-Lock™ tensioner on the other end -- no special tools or swaging required.
  • Thread the tensioner end through your starting post and through intermediate posts, cable braces and end post.
  • Pull the cable through the Pull-Lock™ fitting.
  • Tension the cables then cut the excess cable off on the back side of the fitting with a 4" right angle grinder or a cutting wheel that is used with your hand drill.
  • Press on the stainless steel cap to cover the bare cable end, and you're done!

If you specialize in aluminum railings, you might find our part number 4294 of interest. It is an aluminum spindle which is 3/4" square at one end and tapers to 1/2" round at the other end. They are 40" long and have been discontinued from our standard product line. Contact Wagner for further information.
