The Wagner Companies has re-introduced cast ball style railing fittings in aluminum for use with 1½” pipe in historic renovations.
Ball style railing fittings were very popular during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Over the years they have gone out of use, but are still commonly seen along the ocean and in older facilities. In recent years, Wagner has received requests for these parts as many municipalities are restoring some of the existing installations or for new construction in historic renovations.
Originally produced in cast iron, Wagner has redesigned the ball style elbow, tee, cross and base flange in cast aluminum for easy assembly using 1½” pipe. Components are provided with a tumbled finish, pre-drilled holes and set screws. An adapter can be provided for use with the elbows and tees to create side outlet fittings that can easily adjust to ramp and stair angles. Contact Wagner with your specifications.
