For use with 1.500" and 2.000" tubing with a .050" wall.
Recommended for surface mounting of brass or stainless steel railing posts when greater strength is required. Steel insert is threaded into the steel flange.
- Use anchor bolts to bolt the flange to floor surface. Four holes are 3/8" - unthreaded.
- Slide your tube post over the steel insert.
- Slide the canopy flange – shown above – onto the post to cover the steel flange.
- Use screws or adhesive to lock the insert, flange and tube in place.

- Provide holes or sleeves a minimum 1/2" larger than the post OD.
- Minimum depth: 4" – 5" to 6" preferred.
- 3-1/2" minimum from center of post to edge of slab.
- 1-1/2" minimum from edge of hole to edge of slab.
- 1" minimum grout pad.
- Insert optional steel reinforcing insert into tube post.
- Set posts with Rockite® or Kwixset®.
- Use weep holes for exterior applications.

Insert this steel insert into your brass or stainless steel tubing for added strength in posts, foot rails or as required. When used in foot rails, drill pilot holes to accept screws supplied with fittings. |
