Following countless hours of preparation, Wagner is pleased to announce that we have completed our ISO audit. Wagner received a positive recommendation with zero non-conformance. Our official certificate should be in-hand by the end of this month.

ISO 9001 is a family of standards for quality management systems. ISO 9001 is maintained by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization and is administered by accreditation and certification bodies.

Some of the requirements in ISO 9001 include:

• a set of procedures that cover all key processes at Wagner;
• monitoring processes to ensure they are effective;
• keeping adequate records;
• checking output for defects, with appropriate and corrective action where necessary;
• regularly reviewing individual processes and the quality system itself for effectiveness; and
• facilitating continual improvement.

This question has greeted several members of Wagner's newly expanded sales group as they begin to visit many of our long standing customers. While Wagner has been around for decades, we have primarily promoted sales through our catalog and trade shows. Many of our best customers have never actually met anyone from Wagner.

As we continue to expand our line of architectural railing systems -- Glass Railing, Lumenrail and Wagnerail -- we are now making an effort to visit, thank and educate all to the changes and many new products and services now available from Wagner.

So once you get over the initial surprise of a Wagner visit, please take the time to let us know how we can best serve you in the future.
